Authenticated command execution via crafted CGI parameters
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
OS command injection in Nokia 1350 OMS R14.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through crafted HTTP GET requests. The cmd parameter in /cgi-bin/R14.2/log.pl and the addr parameter in /cgi-bin/R14.2/checkping.pl are incorporated into OS command execution without adequate neutralization. Access to an authenticated web session is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the affected service's operating-system privileges.
