Session impersonation via reflected XSS
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Cross-site scripting in SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP SAP GUI for HTML allows remote attackers to steal session information via crafted script. The reflected input is rendered without sufficient neutralization in the Fiori Launchpad interface, causing attacker-controlled script to execute in a victim browser. No prior authentication is required, but victim interaction with the crafted request is required; demonstrated consequences are session theft and impersonation, with no reported availability impact.
