Oracle VM VirtualBox Core before 6.1.40 allows remote attackers to take over VirtualBox through an unauthenticated VRDP connection. Oracle has not published which VRDP request or Core operation is processed incorrectly. Exposure requires the separately installed extension pack and per-VM VRDP enablement; the server is disabled by default, and exploitation has high complexity.
