CVE-2022-39398Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unsanitized task content

Published Nov 10, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in Infotel Tasklists before 2.0.3 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via task content. Task::prepareInputForAdd accepts content without GLPI's safe-HTML sanitizer, while Kanban rendering converts the stored HTML without the stricter safety flag. Exploitation requires a user to view the crafted task; script execution can expose or alter data available to that user's browser session.
