CVE-2022-39397

Authentication secret disclosure via public extraction APIs

Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Sensitive information exposure in tu6ge aliyun-oss-client before 0.8.1 allows attackers to read the configured Aliyun KeySecret. Public traits in src/auth.rs expose AuthSignString::secret and SignString::secret_string, returning the authentication secret to downstream code. Exploitation requires code execution within a consuming application that uses an affected library version, and the bounded consequence is disclosure of its OSS credential.
