Remote code execution via unsafe Twig rendering
Published Oct 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Server-side template injection in Pimcore before 10.5.9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via user-controlled Twig templates. Mail and Dynamic Text rendering compile attacker-controlled Twig without the restrictive sandbox added by the patch, allowing template expressions to invoke dangerous functionality. The CVSS record models unauthenticated network access without user interaction; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
