SSRF in affected Metabase releases allows remote authenticated users to read internal resources through crafted custom GeoJSON URLs. The /api/geojson handler validates only the initial URL, then its Java reader follows HTTP 301 or 302 responses without validating the redirect destination. An authenticated user must control the initial server and its redirect; the bounded consequence is disclosure of link-local, private-network, or cloud metadata content.
