CVE-2022-39349Public exploit

Private data disclosure via unvalidated attachment URI

Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information disclosure in Tasks.org before 12.7.1 and version 13.0.0 allows local users to read private app data via a share intent. ShareLinkActivity passes an unvalidated EXTRA_STREAM file URI to FileHelper.copyToUri, which copies the referenced internal file into external attachment storage. An installed app or ADB access can trigger the activity; exposed data includes notes, preferences, and encrypted CalDAV credentials, but not the Android Keystore key.
