Improper certificate validation in Nextcloud nextcloudcmd before 3.6.1 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read credentials over TLS. The nextcloudcmd TLS error handler accepted invalid certificates by default instead of rejecting their errors unless the --trust option was supplied. Exploitation requires a local user to run nextcloudcmd while a network attacker intercepts its TLS connection, exposing transmitted credentials or sensitive data.
