Remote command execution via unfiltered JDBC parameters
Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Deserialization in DataEase before 1.15.2 allows remote attackers to execute system commands through crafted MySQL JDBC parameters. MysqlConfiguration.getJdbc() appends extraParams directly to the connection URL without rejecting deserialization-enabling options. Exploitation requires DataEase to connect to an attacker-controlled MySQL server; successful commands run with server privileges.
