Unsafe deserialization in Thoughtworks GoCD before 21.1.0 allows remote authenticated users controlling an agent to execute code on the server. The /go/remoting/remoteBuildRepository handler passes an authenticated Spring RemoteInvocation body to Java deserialization before method-level agent UUID validation. Reachability requires a registered or compromised agent, or interception of its authenticated communication; successful exploitation runs code with the GoCD server process's privileges.
