Session theft via same-origin HTML build artifacts
Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored XSS in OneDev before 7.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal victim sessions through crafted build artifacts. The artifact-serving path returns attacker-controlled HTML from the OneDev web origin, causing browsers to execute embedded JavaScript with access to non-HttpOnly session cookies. The attacker must control artifact content, typically through build-spec modification, and induce a victim to open a link; an administrator session can enable server command execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
