Administrator-level script execution via unescaped settings
Published Dec 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Automattic Jetpack CRM before 5.4.3 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to run scripts. The Second Address Label, Login Logo Override, and Custom CRM Header settings accept attribute-breaking input and return it without sanitization or output escaping. Administrator access is required to store the payload, and pointer interaction executes it in the viewing user's browser context.
