Remote code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Remote code execution in College Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users with admin access to execute PHP code. The student.php handler accepts a malicious .php file and makes its contents executable by the server. Administrator privileges are required for the upload, although a separate SQL injection flaw can bypass authentication; successful exploitation grants code execution in the web server's context.
