Stored script execution via unsanitized process names
Published Oct 30, 2023 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Stored XSS in mb Support openVIVA c2 before 20220801 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. The process-creation form stores the unsanitized Name field, and the assigned-process overview renders that value when the selected responsible user opens the list. Low-privileged user access is sufficient; exploitation requires assigning the crafted process to a victim and that victim opening the process overview.
