Cross-site scripting via client-side connection desynchronization

Client-side desync in IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and IBM Controller 11.1.0 allows remote attackers to trigger XSS. The HTTP handling permits a browser and server to disagree about response boundaries, but IBM has not disclosed the responsible parser or operation. Exploitation is remote and unauthenticated but requires user interaction; successful desynchronization can run script in the affected browser context.
