Out-of-bounds writing in Siemens Parasolid and Simcenter Femap allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a crafted X_T file. The X_T parser writes past the end of an allocated buffer while processing attacker-controlled file data. Execution requires a user to open the supplied file and runs with the privileges of the current process.
