Stack-based buffer overflow in Unisoc's face detect driver on Android 10 through 12 allows local users to cause kernel denial of service. The driver performs an out-of-bounds stack write because a bounds check is missing before data is written to the destination buffer. Local access is required; published material does not distinguish whether the kernel denial of service is a crash or hang.
