Kernel denial of service via unchecked sensor-driver write

A buffer overflow in UNISOC SC9863A and related chipsets on Android 10 through 12 allows local users to cause kernel denial of service. The sensor driver performs an out-of-bounds write because it fails to check a buffer boundary before writing. Published assessments agree on local access but disagree on required privileges and user interaction; the public record does not identify whether interruption causes a crash, hang, or reboot.
