Reflected script execution via unescaped success parameter
Published Dec 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Reflected XSS in the HelloPrint WordPress plugin before 1.4.7 allows remote attackers to run scripts via a crafted success parameter. The language-translate.php admin page inserts the success query value into its response without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the crafted URL, after which the script runs in that administrator's browser context.
