CVE-2022-39067

Authenticated service interruption via Wi-Fi parameter overflow

Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Buffer overflow in the Wi-Fi interface of ZTE MF286R Nordic_MF286R_B06 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The undisclosed Wi-Fi parameter handler copies attacker-controlled input without checking that it fits the destination buffer. The attack requires high-privileged access from an adjacent network, and the documented consequence is service interruption only.
