CVE-2022-39061Network attack vector

Memory disclosure and service interruption via length validation

Published Jan 31, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in ChangingTec MegaServiSignAdapter 1.0.17.0823 allows remote attackers to disclose memory and interrupt services. A special-function handler fails to validate an input parameter's length before reading from memory, permitting a read beyond the intended buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequences are partial memory disclosure and partial service interruption.
