Stored XSS via unescaped button text setting
Published Dec 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored XSS in WhiteStudio Easy Form Builder before 3.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through button text settings. The Button Settings Text field stores markup in the database and later renders it without sanitization or output escaping when the form functionality runs. Administrator-level access is required, and a user must view the affected form functionality for the stored script to execute in that user's browser.
