Reflected XSS via unfiltered platform-page URL
Published Sep 28, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
Reflected XSS in Heimavista Rpage before 5.4.103 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted platform-page URL. The platform-page URL handler fails to filter special characters before reflecting URL data into a web response, allowing injected script syntax to reach the browser. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted URL; the resulting script can read or modify browser-accessible data in the Rpage origin.
