Client-side attacks via crafted assessment_redirect URL
Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Cross-site scripting in the assessment_redirect UI page in ServiceNow Now Platform allows remote attackers to run client-side attacks via a crafted URL. The page fails to neutralize attacker-controlled URL input before generating content in the authenticated user's browser. An authenticated user must click the URL; resulting script execution enables phishing, redirection, or theft of CSRF tokens in that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
