CVE-2022-39018Network attack vector

Restricted PDF disclosure via known file URLs

Published Oct 31, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025

Broken access control in M-Files Hubshare before 3.3.11.3 allows remote attackers to read restricted PDF files via a known URL. The PDFtron document-viewing path returns restricted file data for a known URL without an authenticated session, but the endpoint and faulty code path are undisclosed. Possession or discovery of a restricted file URL is the only published gate, and the reported consequence is read-only disclosure of that PDF content.
