CVE-2022-38931Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via unrestricted file fetch URL

Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025

Server-side request forgery in BaijiaCMS V4 4.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to make arbitrary server-side requests. The fetch_net_file_upload function in includes/baijiacms/common.inc.php passes the unrestricted url parameter directly to file_get_contents and saves the returned bytes beneath the attachment directory. A valid session is required; the request can probe intranet services or use the file scheme to copy readable local files into a web-accessible location.
