Unauthenticated post disclosure via unchecked AJAX lookup
Published Feb 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
Missing authorization in WP FullCalendar before 1.5 allows remote attackers to read draft, private, and password-protected posts via AJAX. The unauthenticated wpfc_qtip_content AJAX action accepts a user-controlled post_id and returns that post's content without checking its publication status or requester access. No account or displayed calendar is required; knowledge or enumeration of a post ID exposes otherwise restricted post content.
