Insufficient firmware verification in nine D-Link DAP access points allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a crafted update. The update path accepts an image whose header or unauthenticated version metadata has been altered without adequately verifying its authenticity. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful upload affects only device availability, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
