Unauthenticated subscriber disclosure via static admin token
Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
Authentication bypass in the free5GC 3.2.1 web console allows remote attackers to read subscriber, tenant, and user data. The web console API accepts the literal admin value in its Token header without a password or authenticated session, then returns registered UE context and tenant records. Network access to the web console is sufficient; exposed records include subscriber identifiers, session details, tenant names, and user email addresses.
