Admin-level database disclosure via injectable id parameter
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in School Activity Updates with SMS Notification 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted id. The student-view handler at /activity/admin/modules/modstudent/index.php places the id query parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. A Super Admin session is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates UNION-based disclosure of the database name.
