Database disclosure via injectable department identifier
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in School Activity Updates with SMS Notification 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The department edit endpoint incorporates SQL syntax supplied through id into its database query, and a UNION SELECT payload returns the active database name. Administrator authentication and an active PHP session are required; successful exploitation exposes database data and changes query semantics.
