Local privilege escalation via SMC buffer overflow

Improper input validation in ARM Trusted Firmware for Intel FPGA products before 2.7.0 Hotfix allows local users to escalate privileges. The reported Stratix 10 instance is a buffer overflow in the intel_fcs_aes_crypt_init secure-monitor service triggered by malformed SMC input; Intel does not disclose the equivalent Agilex locus. Exploitation requires high-privileged local access and permits unauthorized reads and writes in the secure-monitor context without a reported service interruption.
