Unauthenticated database query manipulation via tb_search
Published Nov 7, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in Maxon ERP allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the tb_search parameter in browse_data. The /index.php/purchase_order/browse_data endpoint fails to neutralize attacker-controlled tb_search input before using it in an SQL command. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public record does not identify which database read, write, or service-disruption operations were demonstrated.
