User redirection to arbitrary websites
Published Feb 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Open redirect in Elastic Kibana 7.0.0 through 7.17.8 and 8.0.0 through 8.6.1 allows remote attackers to redirect users via a crafted URL. Elastic has not published the affected route, parameter, or URL-validation operation that accepts the untrusted destination. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious Kibana URL, after which the browser is sent to an attacker-chosen site; no service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
