Unauthenticated enumeration of valid user accounts
Published Nov 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
User enumeration in Micro Focus Filr before 4.3.1.1 allows remote attackers to identify valid system users via unauthenticated requests. OpenText has not published the affected request handler, endpoint, or response difference that reveals account validity. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful probing discloses which account identifiers exist, without reported data access or modification.
