Unauthenticated LDR service crash
Published Mar 2, 2023 · Updated Mar 7, 2025
Denial of service in NetApp StorageGRID before 11.6.0.8 allows remote attackers to crash the Local Distribution Router service. NetApp has not published the request type or the LDR operation that mishandles it, so the concrete resource-exhaustion mechanism is undisclosed. The network path requires no authentication, and a successful request interrupts object-storage processing on the affected Storage Node without reported data loss.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
