Arbitrary file read via registration path traversal
Published Jan 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Path traversal in Gravitee API Management before 3.15.13 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through user registration. The Email service processes injected HTML from /management/users/register without confining the resulting file path to its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is read-only disclosure of files accessible to the service.
