SOAPAction spoofing in IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0, 8.0, 8.5, and 9.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute unauthorized operations. IBM identifies JAX-WS Web Services request processing as the locus but keeps the implementation error corrected by PH49111 confidential. An attacker must intercept and alter network traffic; successful spoofing causes the server to invoke an unwanted or unauthorized operation.
