Redirect data deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Sep 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in SEO Redirection Plugin – 301 Redirect Manager 8.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete redirect data. The option_page_404.php and option_page_history.php handlers process deletion requests without nonce validation, accepting requests forged through an administrator's browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page and can erase recorded 404 errors and redirection history.
