Local WLAN service interruption via unchecked parameters
Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Integer underflow in the Unisoc Android 10 through 12 WLAN driver allows local users to interrupt WLAN services with malformed parameters. The driver omits a parameter check, allowing an integer value to underflow while processing untrusted parameters. Local access with high privileges is required, and no user interaction is needed; the bounded consequence is interruption of WLAN services.
