Insufficiently protected credentials in Jenkins Git Plugin 4.11.4 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to read passwords via build logs. The gitUsernamePassword credentials binding masks usernames instead of passwords when usernames are not configured as secret, leaving the password visible in the build output. Access requires permission to run or inspect a job that uses this binding; the demonstrated impact is credential confidentiality loss without integrity or availability effects.
