Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized id parameter
Published Dec 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
SQL injection in Comic Book Management System before 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through the id parameter. The weekly-picks administrator action places the POST id value into a SQL statement without sanitization or escaping, so crafted expressions alter the executed query. Administrator-level WordPress access is required; the demonstrated time-delay payload confirms database query control through the authenticated admin endpoint.
