Script execution via unneutralized search query
Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in Creativeitem Academy Learning Management System before 5.9.1 allows remote attackers to execute script via a search URL. The public search endpoint reflects the query parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing injected markup, allowing a crafted URL to supply executable JavaScript. No authentication is required, but a user must open the attacker-prepared URL; the script then runs in that user's browser under the site's origin.
