Memory corruption via unchecked list copy
Published Aug 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Buffer overflow in Tenda TX9 Pro firmware 22.03.02.10 allows attackers to corrupt httpd memory through a crafted list value. SetNetControlList forwards the list field to sub_43157C, which calls strcpy without checking the input length. Access to the management endpoint is required; the published PoC exercises the overwrite path but does not establish code execution.
