Code execution via out-of-bounds SVG parsing read
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds reads in Adobe Photoshop 22.5.8 and 23.4.2 and earlier allow attackers to execute code through crafted SVG files. The SVG file parser reads past the end of an allocated memory structure when processing malformed input. A victim must open the file, after which attacker-supplied code runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
