Information disclosure via EPS buffer over-read
Published Sep 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InCopy 17.3 and earlier and 16.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via EPS files. The EPS parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer when processing crafted file data, exposing adjacent memory and potentially revealing ASLR state. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the demonstrated consequence is information disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
