Form data disclosure via thanks module retention
Published Sep 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in SYNCK GRAPHICA Mailform Pro CGI 4.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read submitted form data. The enabled thanks module retains each submission for reuse by the thanks page and accepts a crafted URL that exposes the retained values. Disclosure requires a form user to open the attacker-supplied URL within the retention window, which defaults to 30 seconds in configs/thanks.cgi.
