CVE-2022-38390Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via embedded Web UI JavaScript

Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in Workflow Center in IBM Business Automation Workflow releases allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. The Web UI accepts embedded JavaScript in user-controlled content without neutralizing it before trusted-session rendering, but IBM has not disclosed the affected field, request, or code locus. Exploitation requires low-privilege access and a separate user interaction, exposing session credentials and allowing alteration of displayed behavior.
