Authenticated JavaScript execution via unescaped query parameters
Published Aug 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in AXIANS EyesOfNetwork 5.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The affected PHP pages place rule_notification, rule_name, rule_name_old, user_name, or user_email query values into generated HTML without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to open a crafted URL, exposing that user's browser session to attacker-supplied script actions.
